The caption which says “The printing press in action” will be misleading if readers think it’s producing newspapers as it’s a photograph of one of the many magazine and bookwork flat-bed and sheetfed machines which were sited on the ground, sub basement and basement floors of 53 Cambridge Road. The newspaper press was a rotary reel-fed Goss Headliner sited in 14 Claremont.
